NSW Regional Skilled Migration – Business Information Session
RDA Sydney, in partnership with the Blue Mountains City Council, will host a free session regarding the Regional Skilled Migration program.
Key officials, from the Business, Industry and Regional Outreach (BIRO) from the Department of Home Affairs, Migration Institute of Australia, and Regional Development Australia (RDA) Central West, will discuss migration and its importance to the region, Australia’s regional migration and industry support programs, and the NSW Regional Skilled Migration Program.
The Business Information Session will provide employers and businesses with information about Visa options for current and future skilled staff, the role of Home Affairs, RDA Central West and RDA Sydney, and the aims of Regional Skilled Migration and Labour Agreement programs, skills and requirements. There will also be the opportunity to talk to government representatives, ask questions and network with other business owners.
The Migration Information Session for Business is aimed to assist businesses across various sectors that are looking to develop workforce. Businesses and organisations in health, aged care, hospitality, education and training, construction, agriculture and manufacturing, will be able to learn about Australia’s Regional Skilled Migration program.
Attendees can expect to be informed on the availability of visa programs (190, 491, 189, 494) and have the opportunity to connect with Government Department representatives to learn and discuss challenges and opportunities with regional visa programs, both short and long term.
