The RDA NSW & ACT Network’s submission highlights significant gaps in settlement services for refugees and humanitarian entrants across regional NSW and the ACT, particularly in youth support and employment pathways. Drawing on regional evidence and experience, it calls for equitable service coverage, place-based funding and stronger links with existing employment services. It also recommends practical relocation and settlement support to help migrants and their families establish lasting connections, contribute to regional workforces and build sustainable lives in regional communities.
