Regional Development Australia Mid North Coast, Southern NSW & ACT, Murray, Riverina, Far West, Orana and Northern Inland will extend The Welcome Experience to local government areas within their regions.
The program is designed to offer concierge-like services to essential workers looking to relocate to Regional NSW. Some of these services include finding a new home, settling into their communities, find a school for their children, joining sporting clubs and assisting their partners to find work.
The skills shortages have been well documented and each RDAs is looking forward to working with essential workers who want to relocate to their region, potential employers, local businesses and community groups in these local government areas to help attract and retain essential workers.
The program is already in operation in parts of the state and will continue to roll out across RDA regions.
