Regional New South Wales will take centre stage in June, as Destination NSW hosts the Business Events NSW Showcase 2025 – a fresh push to attract high-value corporate events to the state’s diverse destinations.
The event will be held at Machine Hall on Clarence Street, Sydney, on Wednesday 25 June 2025, from 5–8pm. Expressions of interest are now open for visitor economy operators and destination representatives from across NSW to exhibit.
Designed to bring to life Destination NSW’s bold, experience-led vision for the business events sector, the showcase will spotlight the ‘Feel New’ brand platform, and its message: “Corporate events that feel anything but.”
With today’s event organisers looking beyond the boardroom, the focus is firmly on immersive, creative, and culturally rich experiences – something regional NSW offers in abundance.
Business events remain a highly valuable part of the NSW visitor economy. Domestic overnight conference attendees spend an average of $547 per night – more than 130% higher than the average leisure visitor spend of $237.
More than 100 key business events decision-makers will be invited to the showcase, including corporate planners, associations, and professional conference organisers. For NSW tourism operators, the event is a unique opportunity to raise awareness of their offering, meet potential clients and build industry partnerships.
