Following the winding journey of the mighty Murray River through the diverse landscapes along the NSW-Victoria border, the RDA Murray region stretches from the Snowy Valleys to the South Australia border. The region boasts striking and diverse terrain, from sandy river beaches and forested slopes to lush farmland and ancient desert dunes. Top industries in the region include agriculture, softwood production, viticulture, horticulture, health care, retail, manufacturing, construction, and tourism. The Murray region encompasses nine Local Government Areas of Albury, Balranald, Berrigan, Edward River, Federation, Greater Hume, Murray River, Wentworth and parts of the Snowy Valleys.
