For skilled migrants, employers and migration professionals, there are several key updates:
🔹 Subclass 190 nominations are now open, with the first invitation round scheduled for this week.
🔹 The updated NSW Skills List has been released, identifying occupations eligible for consideration for subclass 190 nomination, in line with NSW’s critical skills priorities.
🔹 Subclass 491 nominations remain closed to new applicants under all pathways. A further update will be provided when more information becomes available.
Applicants seeking a subclass 190 invitation should ensure their SkillSelect Expression of Interest is up to date and that they can provide valid evidence for every claim.
Also worth noting: the NSW Health Deployment Program offers nurses, midwives and allied health professionals opportunities to work across regional, rural and remote NSW for two to 13 weeks, with travel, accommodation and additional financial support available.
