In response to growing demand for practical, place-based expertise, Regional Development Australia (RDA) Murray has launched PLAN – a new strategic consulting service designed to help regional organisations thrive.
The initiative was developed after widespread feedback from councils, community groups and local businesses calling for more tailored support to navigate funding shifts, workforce pressures and increasingly complex regional challenges.
“PLAN is about turning insight into action,” says the RDA Murray CEO Sarimah Hellyer. “We know that decisions made locally are strongest when backed by evidence, engagement and real regional experience.”
The service offers a suite of consulting capabilities including community engagement, economic and data analysis, strategic planning, people and performance support, procurement advice, and corporate secretariat services.
To celebrate the launch, RDA Murray is offering a free 30-minute consultation – giving organisations the chance to explore their goals, challenges and opportunities without obligation.
“It’s about practical advice, grounded in regional knowledge,” Hellyer says. “Together, we can shape a stronger future for the Murray region.”
Free consultations now open.
